Waay back in what seems years ago I saw the Egyptian kids take on a monster and win.. ( apparently).. This inspired me a LOT and so I began to take some steps to be of assistance to American kids who I saw as being very neglected and not being attended to.. I became ambitious enough to make a bold move to a place 4 hours away from Mount Nebo to be in close proximity to civilization. The move began in Late February and I took a lease on a rather nice ( looking) house began March 1st.
HAHAHAHA.. From Day one the landlord was not taking care of simple things and was dragging out remedies... Like no water.. then no hot water.. Then the dishwasher had not even been hooked up.. Then mice in the house and then the stink of dead mice from the poison they used to get rid of them.. Things were getting rather NOT FUN and by last week the final straw. I had been aware that there was an issue with the heater complained about it and was avoiding using it.. Little did I know until a few days ago that the gas heater was defective and was pumping CARBON MONOXIDE directly into the house.. I did have a scare early on .. March 3rd .. when I passed out twice in a matter of 10 mins in the house.. I also was suffering headaches which I dont get. I thought it was me.. I think what saved my life is I had the sense to not run the heater much..
I trusted the landlord.. a high end contractor.. Someone who had to know everything that was wrong here before I moved in .. My bad.. a word of advice to all.. TRUST NO ONE WITH YOUR LIFE DURING THESE STRANGE DAYS..
So I am in the process of going back to Mount Nebo and hit the reset button on everything I started.
Just letting ya all know why I am not writing much. I have a few weeks of getting my old place back in operation ahead of me..
