The story line of the movie is METAPHOR but is revealing indeed.  The view of the so called real world " as it exists today" in the movie is in fact what this world looks like on a psychic level to those of us who are awake..  A real fucking mess.. and indeed the world as seen after doing the red pill really is being run by a machine like intelligence devoid of empathy..  This machine intelligence is the human mind under the full control of EGO..  The way most people are kept from knowing is through the PROGRAMMING of beliefs..  Most people respond to information by FILTERING the information through a belief FIRST..  Information that conflicts with beliefs is discarded or maybe best said does NOT EVEN REGISTER in consciousness. 

I am not the only Morpheus at work.. Many of us are doing the same thing with our own style and a message acquired through direct personal experience.. And we come in different skin and gender.. You cannot tell on the outside who is who.. Smith or Morpheus.. .. ONLY your heart knows the difference.
